Chateau Meyre exceeded my expectations in many ways. The property is charming and nestled in beautiful vineyards. My room, a King Room with Garden View, was spacious and comfortable with great amenities. The warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. Breakfast was fresh and filling with delightful ham and cheese plates. Enjoyed evenings with a glass of the Chateau's Margaux in the lovely gardens. However, arriving on a Monday was tricky with limited dinner options. Onsite dining only opens for breakfast, and I had to drive 23km to find a nearby restaurant. I also faced a bit of chaos at check-in regarding the wine tour I thought I booked, which was not available. Though a complimentary wine tasting was offered, it was a missed opportunity to have a scheduled tour. Overall, a relaxing stay but worth considering dining arrangements in advance.

Pool vibes were great, but the annex felt a bit too basic for a chateau.

Charming vineyard setting, Beautiful sunset views, Heated swimming pool
The room condition in the annex felt more like a motel rather than a chateau!!! Limited service availability after 8 PM left us unsupported!!! Noise from nearby roads affected our comfort!!!
